iPad 2 Features and Release?
This question has been asked a lot, but I dont know whoto listen to.
I’m wondering about the iPad 2′s not only release date, but expected features.
I know that the iPad was inyroduced last January. I hear that the iPad 2 is coming between late November and early February. Is there a large chance or any chance it could be coming out between November and December? I’m not sure because I know that the iPad gets iOS 4 this month, so Apple may release its next generation iPad as well. Also, they usually release some great things before the holiday season.
The only thing that would keep it from coming out is that I’m not sure if Apple would release a product and come out with the second generation in the same year. Is it possible? Might it happen?
Also, features.
I thinkthe iPad will get FaceTime and a backcamera. Also a higher resolution. Retina I’d guess. what do you people think?
Do you think that there will be a USB port as well?
And what about a smaller size. I myself would rather have the same display size.
I hope that the iPad 2 will come in December or earlier. What do you people think? Tell me your ideas. Apple fanboys, please tell me what you hear and what you think!

Ok. So….the iPad 2:
Size: 8.8mm thin. Much thinner than the 1st. Also, same size in width and height.
Software: 4.3. Has camera on front and back. Both 1 megapix I believe. Has great video.
Color: Comes in white and black. They will be shipping the white out from day 1.
Extras: Coming out with Garageband for iPad, will be $4.99. There is no USB port, for it is too thin, or SD card slot. Has pretty much everything the 1st does, just better software, much faster, camera, and the color. The price will start out at $499 just like the 1st.
P.S. – When it comes out the 1st will go down in price, how much that is yet to be determined. In my opinion, I’d just rather wait for the 1st to go down in price and get it. It seems like if the sling it the wrong way (new one) it will snap in half it’s so thin. Thinner than iphone.

I’d want a galaxy or streak before I get the iPad 2. By the end of this year, there will probably be an iPhone 5, iPod touch 5, even smaller shuffle and probably smaller nano. Apple is running out of ideas, all they do is update their existing products without really adding anything useful to them.
Ipad wont charge but I have a 2.0 USB?
My iPad wont charge when its hooked up to my computer.
So I googled this problem and apparently its common with PC users.
A few of the answers on the iPad charging questions said you needed a 2.0 USB port for it to charge which older computers don’t have.
I then checked how you would figure out if you had a 2.0 USB, it said if you check in your computer properties and device manager it would say “Enhanced” beside the USB name.
well mine has 4 USB ports, 2 say “generic” and 2 say something like “Intel enhanced” so when I looked at the location it says
“PCI bus 0, device 29, function 0″
where would this be?
I am so confused. I left my iPad plug in at home and need it for class tomorrow, reallllly hoping someone can help me figure this out.
ALSO I tried plugging it into each one and it still didn’t charge. I also put it to sleep which means that it will charge slower, but wouldn’t it have the lighting bolt on the battery symbol on my PC’s itunes?

If you read the question it says I forgot my plug in charger at home…
This is very common. Your computer USB ports doesn’t put out enough voltage to recharge as it does with an iPod or when your iPad is plugged in to the AC adapter.
But, it is still be recharged, just a lot slower than normal. If you don’t use it and just let it sit plugged into the computer, you will see after a few hours that the percentage indicator has gone up.

Okay that look at it in the past month apple release new Macbook pro and now the new ipad 2.
That look at it.
1.Macbook pro battery life ( very good)
2.CPU i7 ( very good )
3.Video card not good for 13 inch well very good for the 15 inch and 17 inch
4.RAM oaky but the 15 and 17 inch should have more than 4GB of RAM
5.Hard drive space should have more has PC do
6.Price over price
Big no no is they are using the sandy bridge chipsets and you know the problem with the sandy bridge chipsets with SATA controller.
Well for the ipad 2 fantastic yes very fantastic but one major problem no USB port, firewire port,SD card and a lack of RAM and same 16GB ,32GB and 64GB that should be higher.I’m sure the competitors will do better in this area.

What does “lite” mean when talking about ipod touch and iPhone apps?
I plan on getting an iPod touch and I’ve been looking at some of their apps. When looking at some of these apps, some of them have “lite” in the app name and others don’t.
Is there something special with apps that have “lite” in their name?
