    iPad: Youtube app problems…?
I just got my iPad yesterday and connected the wifi. Safari, mail, and any other apps that require the internet work perfectly fine and loads fast. But whenever I go to the Youtube app (that comes with the iPhone, iPod Touch, etc.) it says can not connect to youtube. Why does it do this if the wifi connection is strong and everything else is fine? How do you fix this?
Colanth: Some websites do require flash, but create an app for the website so you can watch the videos. Like Netflix and Youtube. I’m just having connection problems.

Try completely rebooting the iPad, by holding the Power button until you get a “Slide to Power Off” screen. After it is completely powered off, press the power button and wait to get back to the lock screen, then try it again.

(EDIT: Sorry, I just found out this is just seconding Abishek :)

Well, CG guy obviously doesn’t quite grasp what you are asking. I have the same issue, however. The YouTube app on iPad does work very nicely without flash, (it uses HTML5), but, the subscription info does seem to have an issue at the moment. Just so you know, it’s not just you having the issue.

    iPad/iPod touch YouTube problems…?
Whenever I try to watch a YouTube vid on my iPad or iPod touch, I waitnfor it to load, then it just stops loading at a certain point. I’ve tried redrafting the video, closing YouTube and opening it, turning off my iPad/touch, and nothing works. It just stops when it gets to the point where it stopped loading.
(this isn’t just one video it’s happened with every video I’ve recently tried to watch)
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I’ve had the same problem before, how long has this been going on? If it’s been happening for a couple days then it’ll probably fix itself soon. But if it’s been going on for a while, then I suggest checking if your wireless router has all the cables plugged in, reset your router, shut down your iPod/iPad (hold down the power button for like 10 secs) and if the problem still occurs then maybe theres a problem with your wireless?
