You can use the Dropbox. Dropbox, the service storage and file synchronization is now available on the iPad. You can access your account, share your files and perform certain tasks from your iPad. The features of Dropbox for iPad are almost identical to that of the iPhone. Not only can you share files with your colleagues, but you also have the ability to view Office files, iWork and PDF from Dropbox for the iPad. Same thing with regard to audio and video files.

The following are the usefulstepsfor editing PDF on IPAD :
Get a PDF file to convert.
Download and install Caliber . The application is available for Windows, Mac and Linux and has a “slightly different interface for each operating system, but quite similar.
Once installed, open the program. The first time you run Caliber, it will launch a quick installation. The first thing you need to do is specify in your folder “ebooks” where files will be saved.
Select the folder to save the eBook.
Return to the home screen andclick”Continue”.
List of manufacturers and select Apple iPhone / iTouch + private list of devices. Click Continue.
You can click Continue safely.
Click Add Books in the upper left corner.
Select the PDF file you want to convert epub. Click Open.
Click on the arrow next to Edit and select news media download metadata and blankets.
Calibre now request additional information on our PDF files.
The meta-data and additional coverage of a book appears in the lower pane of thewindowsize.
Now we are ready to convert to PDF. Select the file and click on the arrow next Conver eBooks and select Convert individually.
Click the OK button.
Now you can synchronize the iPad. Take epub and drag the iTunes icon in the Dock, or click on File> add to the library and get the book in your computer. As you can see on your screen epub will be transferred to the library and there will be that synchronization.
Once synchronized, open the iBook and find the cover on the window sill, with the book ready to be opened!!!
Re: Edit PDF on IPAD
If you own iWork for the iPad, Dropbox will offer you the possibility to edit files directly in Office and iWork Pages, Keynote and Numbers for iPad. Ditto regarding the PDF files can be opened on GoodReader. For now, it is impossible to synchronize the files you have modified your iPad to your Dropbox account. Same principle for text, presentations and spreadsheets that you create on your iPad. Despite these limitations, Dropbox for iPad is really interesting. Only being able to access their storage and share files with colleagues is extremely useful. If you use Dropbox and that you have an iPad, this application is a must.
Re: Edit PDF on IPAD
PDF files can upload a document to the caller, without losing the layout. The advantage is enormous and has the format of Adobe impose standard. However, if the creation ofPDFsfrom documents is becoming easier, we sometimes would like to edit PDF files without having to buy the tool (rather expensive) proposed in his suite Adobe creative. Hopefully, Most Of You Already Know this, purpose Mac OS X has been “Able to convert” any file “any program” from a PDF Into Since version 1.0. It isn’t Entirely Obvious Until you’ve done it a couple of times. There isn’t Save As PDF command in the menubar, goal that’s the feature is in because the Print dialog. To make a PDF, go to File> Print. Click the PDF button at the bottom-left to launch a pop-up menu and select Save As PDF.

Should I get an iPad or laptop?
So for Chrismas I’m thinking about getting an iPad. I would use it for browsing the web, playing games from the AppStore, and I would also get a Bluetooth keyboard and the iWork suite to type documents for school. I am just wondering if there would be any disadvantages of getting an iPad rather then a laptop.
i know several disadvantages of ipad here:
1. you can’t install just any application on an iPad unlike on a laptop;
2. the iPad lacks true multi-tasking present in laptops;
3. the iPad does not have user replaceable batteries unlike laptops;
4. the iPad is not upgradeable unlike laptops.
hope this can be helpful to you.
The sentence part of “positions”,and the sentence structure of “which、、apps”?
Is the iPad aimed at road warriors, who will use it in place of a MacBook or other laptop? That’s the implication of the iWork suite, which positions the iPad as a device you can do useful work on and consists of fully functional apps, not cut-down companion apps
In your paragraph, “positions” is a verb, and the phrase that begins “which positions” and ends “companion apps” is a compound dependent clause which modifies “suite”.
iPad+Dock+Wireless Keyboard+iWork=Computer?
What do you think about it. I might get an iPad and the iWork suite. Then when I need to do school work (assuming that I can type faster on the Wireless keyboard) I’ll use the wireless keyboard. Does that sound alright. I figure that ends up around $630 and that is around what a laptop costs. And I have an at home computer to hook it up to. I was thinking about getting these four items, instead of a laptop. Sounds good?
sounds like a recipe for disaster bro just go for a laptop
Does the iPad have word processing software installed in it and is it any good for sheet music?
Basically I am asking is the iPad any good?
I would be using it for Sheet music…is it good for holding sheet music. I was just wondering if it is big enough to read and also, how do you turn the pages on it? I mean, it can’t be much good if it only shows one page at once? Correct me if I am wrong!
Also, is it any good for word processing? Does a word processing software come with it? I heard that it supports the apple iwork suite but does this come with it or do you have to buy it seperately.
Also, if you could maybe list some other good features of it? Is it just like a mini computer or is it a completely different thing?!!!
What are the advantages between an iPad and an iTouch or an apple Mac?
Sorry for all the questions…I would really like to get one but don’t want to be disappointed after spending my money!!! Thanks for your help?!!
What can a laptop do that an iPad can’t?
So I want an iPad for Christmas. I would mainly use it for school and browsing the Internet. I would get the iWork suite and a Bluetooth keyboard for when I would write papers and do presenations. I am asking what would be an advantage of a laptop. I can browse the Internet, write papers, play games and do the same things on both devices. I also have desktop, so I would be able to set up the iPad. Thanks for your answers.
Since you already have a desktop, iPad is a great choice.
You can probably use it for 90% of stuff you need and just use your desktop in those rare occasions when you need something more.
