Lastly, you can join a paid membership service to download Ipad ebooks. Similar to iTunes and HMV, their book library is also extensive. Membership sites usually costs around for lifetime access. The price may appear pretty costly at the first look, but in the end it is not.. Once you have become a member you may download as many books, comics, newspapers, and other Ipad files offered as you want for the rest of your life. So obviously the membership fee is very low compared to what you will actually get.

The iPad commercial that has words like multi-tasking facts and figures interspersed with clips of tasks being done on the ipad, there is a song on a piano playing in the background. does anyone know the notes?

What browsers are available for the iPad that are similar to IE or Firefox?
There are several websites that won’t allow connection without either Internet Explorer or Firefox. I use my iPad for work and it is MUCH easier to handle than carrying a laptop or even tablet. The only draw back is the fact that I can’t access several websites I need on Safari. Anyone know of one that I can use to access websites available on IE or Firefox?
Apple have started to allow browser apps recently for bothe the iPhone and iPad.
For the iPad there is ‘Mercury Web Browser’, ‘FB Browser’ and ‘Atomic Web Browser’. Although Opera have a browser for the iPhone it is not available for the iPad. Neither Microsoft or Firefox have an iPad web browser.
You may well find that the web sites you are trying to browse have Flash content. Apple will not allow Flash to run on any idevice as they feel it could have possible security flaws.
Can I return my iPad 2 if I got it on the 11th?
It’s not that I dislike my iPad, in fact I love this thing, but I underestimated the capacity. I bought the device on the 11th, and would like to return it on the 26th. I purchased it at Best Buy, and got a 1 year w/ accidental damage warranty. This would be a day over two weeks from purchase. Am I allowed to exchange my 16 GB iPad 2 for a 32 GB?
Right now the Apple iPad is out of stock and will take 4-5 weeks just to get one.
What I recommend is sell it on Craigslist now and charge more then it is worth because the product is in demand and people are willing to pay it. Then wait a month and take the money you sold it for and buy a 32GB you could possibly even make a profit.
*If you can’t live without your iPad for a month then post an add to trade it on Craigslist you may have to add some money.
***And if you don’t want to deal with Craigslist you can return it to Apple and then order a new 32GB it will just end up costing you time and money.
Why is apple pricing the iPad so high?
Why does apple mark up these devices so much? If they sold them at a reasonable price, the iPad would KILL the android tablet and the kindle. It can’t cost that much to make an iPad. In fact, of apple doesn’t start selling them at lower prices, the kindle and android tablet will do a lot better than the iPad. Doesn’t apple want to succeed??
Trust me, Apple is doing just fine. Apple doesn’t have any serious competition right now so they set the price. You can’t compare the iPad and Kindle. I don’t know much about the android tablet.
Also, would you be mad if you wanted an iPod touch but it cost more than an iPad? I’m guessing you would. With this view, Apple bases the prices on a tier. Basic iPods, then iPod Touches/iPhone, then iPads, then MacBooks, and last iMacs.
iPad 2g rumors or facts?
i don’t want to buy the first iPad, Just like the first ipod touch, i want to wait for the next one. But don’t want to wait too long, have their been any rumors about an iPad 2g any time soon?
apple 2generation product is much better than 1g, so I think it will be a supprise.
