Configuring Your Ipad To Avoid Email Glitches
Your iPad is a device that can do many of the same functions as your computer. It has enough features that it can almost replace a laptop and is a bit easier to carry around with you since it’s light weight. Sometimes the iPad has problems with getting email. Find out what you can do that will help you with this issue if it’s happening on your device.
First, make sure that you have an active internet connection. At times, your email might not work simple because there is no internet. Check your 3g connection if you have one or your wifi. The best way to do this is to open your browser and search for something seeing if the connective is active.
Be sure that you set your email up properly for the device. There is quite a bit of information that needs to be correct else your email won’t download to your iPad.
One of the most common mistakes is typing in the password wrong. This is something that should be done each time you check your email. If the password is wrong, which it often is, you can’t get your email. Try again carefully checking the password to be sure it’s right.
Do you have the right incoming mail server? This is something that your email service should provide you. Some use a standard version of “mail” as the subdomain while others do not.
Do you have the right SMTP mail server on the device? Many times this is going to be different than the incoming mail server address. You can’t use both in both places.
You need to test your email settings on a different device to be sure that it’s not an issue with the settings versus it being your iPad. You could have the wrong information, your host could be down, or your email might not let you check for mail this was as it’s not set up like this.

iPad email connection troubles?
I just got an iPad and I hooked up my verizon email account with it but now the messages only come to my iPad and not my computer. How do I fix this? Please help

Alright, I worked for Verizon DSL as well I am an Apple Fan Boy so you will need to do the following. On your iPad go to General Followed by Mail, Contacts, Calenders. On the next page select your Verizon email account and go to the Advanced option at the bottom. Make sure the option for Deleted Messages is changed from After One Week to Never. Also make sure that the option for Delete From Server is also selected to Never. Now this will not change what has happened on the account recently, but what will happen is any new mail received will remain on the server and still be available on your iPad.
Also do you go to the website to gather your email or do you use a email client (outlook, etc…) on your PC?
How can i log off the email on an ipad?

Click on settings icon -> mail, contacts calendars-> account name-> switch on to off
iPad emailing photos help?!?
So I take pictures with my camera, and then I want to be able to edit them on my iPad, since I have an advanced editing system for photos. So I tried sycing the photos on iTunes to my iPad, but the photos wouldn’t show up. so then I took a YouTube videos advice of Emailing the photo to yourself and saving the photo on email! it worked, but when I go to my camera roll, the image doesn’t show up. just a blank photo frame that says “JPG”. and you can’t click on it either. so how can I fix it?

It works! Just go to the photo you want to send in your camera roll on iPad then push email then send!
Can you configure a free Yahoo email account on an Ipad?
So far I have been unsuccessful. I’ve gone through the motions numerous times, and yes, I know I can connect through Safari. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
You probably won’t be able to use a FREE Yahoo account in that way. Here’s the settings for the PAID version Yahoo Mail Plus:
Incoming mail server settings
* POP server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
* Use SSL
* Port: 995
Outgoing mail server (SMTP) settings
* SMTP server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
* Use SSL
* Port: 465
* Use authentication
* Account Name/Login Name: Your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the “@yahoo.com”, for example, “testing80”)
* Email Address: Your Yahoo! Mail address (for example, testing80@yahoo.com)
* Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password
Upgrade first by clicking Options > Mail Plus > Upgrade Now > enter your payment details for annual fee of $19.99 to complete the process, and try again.
